Local residents will be pleased to hear the news that a new 233 Sunday bus service will soon run hourly through the day from Tuesday 1st September. This is being funded by Oxfordshire County Council through the national Supported Bus Services Fund - an investment for local authorities to help provide more bus services in their area.
The Monday to Saturday timetable will remain unchanged from the timetable implemented on 19th July, running every 30 minutes.
Cllr Liam Walker, County Councillor for the Hanborough & Minster Lovell Division said, “I’m really pleased we’ve been able to use this funding to make significant improvements to the Stagecoach 233 bus service. We have long been campaigning for a Sunday service and better linking Hanborough Station at the weekend so this is a major step forward.”
