Better Buses
I am currently in contact with Stagecoach Oxfordshire about the need to make improvements to the 233 bus service. It is my view that the 233 service should better serve Hanborough Station and in particular connect the station with Witney. I also think this service has the business to become a half hour service rather than remaining as an hourly service.
New Bollards
The plastic safety bollards on the bridge in Long Hanborough got knocked down some years ago. I will continue to pressure the County Council to replace these bollards. The bridge is quite dangerous with both pedestrians and cyclists using this busy bridge to get to the train station.
Local parents are rightly concerned about the current shuttle arrangement for the school bus to Bartholomew School in Eynsham that picks up in Hanborough. I will raise this issue with the Leader of the Council and our officers and help to campaign for a better solution.

The station at Long Hanborough is a great asset to West Oxfordshire that last year resulted in over 270,000 using it! However, since Oxford Parkway opened there has been an 11% drop in usage at Hanborough. Join our campaign to put pressure on GWR to improve the trains, the service and the station at Hanborough.

Pothole repairs to Roosevelt Road
The condition of Roosevelt Road in Long Hanborough is one of the worst roads I have across my whole Division. During the election campaign this was a key issue raised by local residents to me. Since then I continue to press the council officers at regular meetings with them. They have said our Dragon Patcher will visit the street very soon to take on the potholes.
